Why I Object to Wearing a Mask

The overwhelming mass of medical and scientific opinion is not only that masks do nothing to stop the spread of SARs-COV-2, (aka the Coronavirus), but they may even endanger the wearer, and are, therefore, a contravention of article 2 of the Human Rights Act 1998: Right to Life (see over for more on the legal side).

Virus particles are over 100 times smaller than the pores in a mask ~

“REDUCES OXYGEN SUPPLY TO THE WEARER.

Puts you under oxygen stress so allows latent viruses in your body to grow and DECREASES IMMUNE SYSTEM.” Professor Dolores Cahill.

“INCREASES CORTISOL, leading to a SUPPRESSED IMMUNE SYSTEM. The chemical constituents guarantee damage to the lungs from the inhalation of the chemical compounds of masks. A reasonable rationale would dictate not wearing anything as opposed to a source of ongoing toxicity.” Dr Rashid Buttar

Those who wear masks are constantly rebreathing viruses, raising the concentration of the virus in the lungs and the nasal passages, and turning the body into a breeding ground. No thanks!

The Legal Side

Aside from the fact that demanding people cover their faces is by nature dehumanising, it is also a violation of at least four articles of the European Convention of Human Rights and the related Human Rights Act 1998.

Article 8: Right to a Private and Family Life: This covers the way you choose to look and dress. A mask hinders communication, you cannot read people’s expressions and speech is stifled.

Article 9: Right to Freedom of Expression: Forcing members of the public, to wear a mask, which one would only do so under the belief in the narrative that there is a deadly virus and spreads from human to human, or as an expression of ‘virtue signalling’ towards the narrative pushed by the political establishment, is a violation of this right.

Article 11: Right to Freedom of Assembly and Association: Only allowing people to travel or access health care if they wear a mask, is an infringement on the rights to freedom of movement, freedom to travel and thus freedom of assembly.

Article 14: Protection from Discrimination: Given that certain people with health conditions will be exempt from the need to wear a mask, such people are also likely to be subject to hassle from members of the public, in terms of questioning why they are not wearing a mask, having to explain to others about their condition. Similarly, anyone with a hearing impairment will also be discriminated against, as communication via lip reading and facial expressions will no longer be possible.

For more information, take a look at a paper by barrister Francis Hoar, who is currently working on a legal challenge to the Coronavirus Act. He explains how any infringement upon human rights legislation is ultra vires, that the government has gone beyond its authority because they can be proved to be disproportionate to actual dangers of Covid-19.
